Oppam malayalam movie is an intense dark thriller from the ace director Priyadarshan, based on a story by Govind Vijayan. Movie stars an ensemble cast which includes Mohanlal, Samuthirakani, Vimala Raman, Anusree, Nedumudi Venu etc. Oppam Story In Detail : Jayaraman (Mohanlal) is blind by birth but have super hearing and other enhanced senses. He works as an elevator operator in an apartment where many reputed people resides. One day he happens to witness a murder in a flat, where he works and he has been charged with the crime, based on the circumstantial evidences. How he proves his innocence to the law forms the plot of the movie. Trailer Response & Release Date : The 1.46 minutes long trailer, which was released through Mohanlal's official Facebook page, is highly promising and beyond impressive. Jayaraman is a visually-challenged man, who works as a lift operator in an apartment in the city. He is has a special ability to sense even the slightest sounds, smell, and touch. One day, he witnesses a murder which happens in the apartment, but the real killer escapes and Jayaraman gets arrested on the basis of circumstantial evidences. How he proves his innocence forms the crux of the story. Mohanlal, who plays Jayaraman, has delivered a brilliant performance as the visually-challenged lift operator. The actor succeeded in presenting the challenging character with perfection, and it is undoubtedly his best performance in the recent past. Unlike the earlier Mohanlal-Priyadarshan films, the technical team of the movie consists mostly newcomers. Director Priyadarshan had recently stated that Oppam is one of his best works till date.
