Peruchazhi (English: Bandicoot) is a political satire/comedy movie written and directed by the award winning filmmaker Arun Vaidyanathan. Movie features Mohanlal, Mukesh, Baburaj , Aju Varghese and Ragini Nandwani in the lead role.

Peruchazhi comprises the elements of friendship, betrayal, love and revenge with a lot of humor. Movie plots the political tricks and games between Jagannadhan (Mohanlal) and Minister Raghavan(Mukesh). Both are very close friends, but they are rivals when it comes to politics.

Once Jagannadhan is sent to America, to improve the polictical graph of a governor, who's chance of winning in election is too low and Jagannadhan's purpose is to make the graph high and make the governor victorious. Eventhough Jagannadhan knows all the tricks and gimmicks in polictics, but he doesn't know English. How he makes the governor victorious and how he survives in America without knowing English, plot's the main story of the movie.
