The movie revolves around the imaginary village Kokkrankara. CP Swathanthran (Mammootty) is the son of a freedom fighter. His paternal cousin (Sunil Sukhadha) snatches the ancestral properties after the death of the father.

Swathanthran is funnily called as 'Utopiayile Rajavu' by the villagers, due to his innocent nature and peculiar name. Things take a different turn when he decides to place a statue of his father in Kokkrankara junction. Then he meets Umadevi (Jewel Mary), a social worker. What happens next forms the rest of the plot.

The movie is filled with comedies and the director presented a comical subject with smartness. The storyline of the movie is perfectly implemented and visualised. The movie will be a great entertainer for the audiences and is a one time watchable movie.
