Vinayan is a young man, who works as an operator in Sreedevi Talkies, an old 'C' class cinema theatre. The owner of the theatre is Madhavan Nair, who is also the godfather of Vinayan. The effects of globalisation start reflecting in the functioning of the theatre.

While Vinayan and Madhavan Nair tries to save the theatre, Bhagavan, the rival of Madhavan Nair tries to snatch it. Meanwhile, Vinayan falls in love with Sreedevi, Bhagavan's daughter. What happens to the talkies from the rest of the plot.

Kunchacko Boban has played Vinayan to near the perfection and amazed with his electrifying dance moves. Shamili, who make her debut in lead roles, has nothing much to do in her minimal role. Premam fame Krishnashankar deserves a special mention for his exceptinal performance. A half-baked movie attempt, which can be watched for the wonderful visuals and songs.
