Kavya scores <i>Vaastavam</i>

Kavya Madhavan sure knows how to strike a balance between a good film and a box-office disaster.

Chakkaramuthu turned out to be a major disappointment for the viewers and rumors have it that the film has flopped at the box office too. This is in spite of the fact that it had biggies like Dileep and Lohitadas. One film starring Kavya had not performed well at the box office, but her other film with Prithviraj, Vaastavam, has earned rave reviews from critics.

Both Prithviraj and Kavya Madhavan have excelled in their roles in this film about an ordinary man's rise in the state politics and the battles in her personal life. Padhmakumar is the man behind this wonderful film.

Kavya is busy shooting some of the song sequences of her much-delayed film Adhishayan.
