Mohanlal's next movie is Baba Kalyani. Shaji Kailas is the director of this film. This movie will be produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. Mamtha Mohandas will be playing the female lead. Others in cast are Biju Menon, Jagathy and Inderjeet. The movie will have Mohanlal playing the role of a police officer sentimentally attached to his mother. Mamtha will play the role of a journalist. A large portion of this movie will be shot in and around Ernakulam. Baba Kalyani will be Mohanlal's Christmas 2006 release.
