for
their
roles
in
Palunku

Vadakkumnathan
respectively.
Palunku
bagged
two
more
awards;
these
are
best
supporting
actor
for
Jagathy
Sreekumar
and
best
child
artiste
award
for
Niveditha.
Meanwhile,
Vadakkumnathan
also
bagged
three
more
awards,
namely
best
scriptwriter
award
for
Girish
Puthenchery,
best
background
score
for
Ouseppachan
and
a
special
award
for
excellence
in
acting
to
Mohanlal.
The

director
award
went
to
Sathyan

would
be
presented
