Jyothirmayi goes spiritual

There is a long line of heroines trying to get out of stereotype roles and Jyothirmayi is one of them. She seems to be looking every way to get out of glamour roles of late. The success of her Tamil film Naan Avanillai has worked wonders to her life. Now, she is turning spiritual by playing the the role of a Buddhist monk in a Malayalam offbeat film titled Bodhi.

This film is based on Kumaran Ashaan's book Pandaalabhikshuki and Jyothirmayi is going to play the role of a Buddhist mendicant Maatangi in it. Theatre director G Ajayan is going to direct this film.

Well, Jyothirmayi has managed to keep a good balance between Tamil and Malayalam cinemas while many Malluwood actress have gone to the place of no return. She has every chance to conquer Malayalam cinema by taking up promising projects. Keep going girl!
