Annan Thampi is Mammootty's next film

Mammootty"s much-talked-about film with director Anwar Rasheed has been titled Annan Thampi. Mammootty plays the role of two brothers in the film; maybe that"s the reason why Rasheed chose this title. Marikkar Films will produce the movie with a script by Naayarambalam. Rahul Raj helms the music.

Mammootty appeared in dual roles last year in Balaram vs. Taradas by I.V. Sasi. Mammootty, who is currently busy with Renji Panikkar"s Rudram, will begin the shooting of Katha Parayumpol soon. The film is being produced by Mukesh and Sreenivasan under the banner of Lumiere Films.
