Mammootty vs Mohanlal

Both Mammootty and Mohanlal have been the most popular stars of the Malayalam film industry. There has always been a stiff competition between their films at the box office. During Vishu, Mammootty starrer Big B competed with Mohanlal's Chota Mumbai.

Now for Onam, the upcoming movie Alibhai starring Mohanlal in the lead will be competing with Nasrani starring Mammootty in the lead.

Big B starring Mammootty in the lead was directed by Amal Neerad. The technically brilliant movie stood at par with any Bollywood movie and the movie was in the news for being remade in Tamil. The movie will also be dubbed in Telugu.

Now it's Mohanlal's turn; his recently released film Hello is being remade in Tamil and Telugu. The movie casts Mohanlal as a drunkard lawyer.
