Mamta Mohandas gets new lease

Bad days of rejection and last moment removal from films are finally coming to an end for Mamta Mohandas. This time around, her projects are slightly more "reliable". Twice last year, she was offered new films and just before she was supposed to start acting in them, she was removed. The most recent one was her removal from Don, the Nagarjuna film. She is now the second heroine of a film with young Telugu actor NTR. She also is going to be the heroine of a new film with Jagapathi Babu.

Ramgopal Varma is going to produce this one. Actor-turned-director JD Chakravarthy is directing this film. He also is going to play the negative role in this film. Now that Mamta Mohandas has joined the Ramgopal Varma camp (or The Factory, as he calls it), you can expect her to star in a series of films with him.
