Meena manages the family

Christmas'much-awaited release, Katha Paryumbol, tells the story of a village barber named Balan and his friend Ashok Raj. Veteran actor Sreenivasan, who is co-producing the film with actor Mukesh, has penned the script for the film and portrays the character of Balan.

The movie also stars Meena as Sridevi, wife of Balan, who is struggling to manage the family as they face financial constraints. Debutante director M. Mohan directs the film being produced under the banner of Lumiere Film Company.
