The Film Industry is one in which neither friends nor foe are permanent. The worst of enemies can turn the best of friends within the blink of an eye. You'll find two big names form the industry with arms raised against each other one day and the next they are hugging each other having cleared all their differences. Director Lohith Das and actress Meera Jasmine are an excellent example of this phenomenon.
The director gave the actress her first opportunity onscreen. A while later they were both rumoured to be living in the same house. They had a tussle some months back as a result of which they parted ways. The actress then moved to her house in Trivanathapuram. The duo have decided to come back together under the guise of Lolith Das"s new film Sembat.
The shooting of the other film the director was working on – Niviyedam- in the meantime is over. Lohith Das said today, “The relationship between Meera Jasmine and me was always a good one. I have plans of remaking Niviyedam in Tamil. Right now my next project is Sembat with Meera Jasmine. The story is inspired from Silappadikaram but is adapted to today"s times. Meera is the only actress who will be able to do justice to her role in the film. That"s why I opted for her to play the role."
