Alibhai revolves around Mohanlal

Filmmakers will surely feel the pressure when they work with artistes of Mohanlal's calibre. Mohanlal has an incredible track record with lots of hit films under his belt. He is a recipient of Padma Shri, which is one of the country's highest civilian awards and two National Award for best actor. So, it is no surprising when a talented director like Shaji Kailas makes film revolving around Mohanlal's character.

Well, Shaji Kailas is leaving no stone unturned to make Mohanlal's latest film Alibhai a complete entertainer. In fact, he has made everything revolve around the hero. "It is about Mohanlal's character being jailed for a crime that is really not his fault. After his release, he fights against the mafia. It has all the ingredients of being ranked as the biggest film made in Malayalam," he said.

It features Gopika in the female lead role and Priyanka is the second heroine. Its shooting is currently progressing at a fast pace with more than 100 stars participating in the shooting. Popular Tamil, Hindi and Telugu actor Aryaman makes debut in Malayalam with this film as a villain. Anthony Perumbavoor is producing it on Ashirwad Films banner and T.A. Shahid has provided the script. It is planned for release this Onam.
