Naren's dream role, actor and film
Friday,
March
23,
2007
With
his
first
film
Chithiram
Pesudhadi,
Narain
drew
the
attention
of
Tamilnadu
viewers.
He
is
at
present
working
in
Pallikoodam.
We
met
him
at
the
sets
of
Malayalam
film
Ore
Kadal
where
he
co-stars
with
Mammootty.
Chithiram
Pesudhadi
was
a
hit,
yet
you
are
going
slow,
why?
After
that
film,
all
the
stories
narrated
to
me
were
full
of
violence.
I
heard
close
to
60
stories
and
did
not
like
any.
Only
Nenjirukkum
Varai
was
a
bit
different
but
it
did
not
run
well
as
expected.
Now
I
have
got
a
good
role
in
Thankar
Bachan's
Pallikoodam
in
which
I
play
Vetrivel,
a
Collector.
I
love
stories
with
a
serious
touch
to
them.
It
is
true
I
was
approached
to
do
the
role
in
Naan
Kadavul.
I
don't
know
what
happened,
but
Bala
did
not
get
in
touch
with
me
again.
Otherwise,
I
should
have
done
Arya's
role
in
Naan
Kadavul."
Do
you
have
any
other
goals
other
than
cinema?
"From
a
young
age,
I
used
to
see
films
of
Amitabh
and
Kamal
and
developed
a
love
for
cinema.
I
decided
then
and
there
that
cinema
would
be
my
chosen
field.
I
did
my
DFT
at
Adyar
Film
Institute
and
worked
as
assistant
cinematographer
for
Rajiv
Menon.
Now, I have put behind my career as a cameraman and am concentrating on acting. In Tamil, I like Nayakan and my favorite actor is Kamal. I want to act as a war hero in a film. I could say that is my dream."
May Naren's dream come true!
