Kerala
has
never
witnessed
the
kind
of
hype
created
like
superstar
Rajinikanth's
Shivaji.
The
film
will
be
released
across
the
state
in
72
theaters.
The
distributor
of
Shivaji
for
Kerala
Johnny
Sagaria
told
this
correspondent
that
the
film
has
created
a
new
history
in
Kerala.
He
said,
"The
highest
so
far
has
been
Mohanlal's
film
Chotta
Mumbai,
released
in
60
theaters
in
the
state.
Now
,Shivaji
has
broken
the
record.
We
will
screen
the
Tamil
movie
in
31
theaters
in
Malabar
region
which
will
be
a
record
for
any
Malayalam
film."
The
first
show
of
the
movie
will
be
screened
in
Palakkad
at
3.30
AM.
Believe
it
or
not,
it
is
not
the
fan
club's
show
but
official
show
for
the
public!
The
tickets
rate
of
the
film
also
has
set
a
new
high.
Normally
it
is
Rs.50
to
75
for
any
Malayalam
movies.
But
for
Shivaji,
the
Kerala
Government
has
permitted
to
raise
the
ticket
rates
upto
50
percent
for
the
first
few
weeks.
The
distributor
has
invested
Rs.3.20crores
for
this
movie,
but
is
hopeful
that
he
will
get
back
this
amount
within
few
weeks!
