Vishu releases for 2007

February has almost ended and Malayalam film industry is already looking forward to its Vishu releases. Five big films are lined up for Vishu this year. Anwar Rasheed is going to test his luck at the box office with his new film Chotta Mumbai. Mohanlal is playing the lead role&Bhavana is his heroine. The film's shooting is on in Kochi these days. Mammootty's Vishu release is Big B! The name sure has created lot of interest.

The Dileep-Sathyan Andhikaat film with Meera Jasmine as the heroine will make its way to the theatres this Vishu. This is Dileep's first film with the director. Pandhayakozhi is the fourth Vishu release. MA Venu is the director. Finally, after all the delays, director Vinayan's Adhishayan is going to hit the theatres. Kavya Madhavan and Jayasurya had played the lead roles. No auspicious day is complete as far as Malayalam films are concerned without a big-budget Tamil film or two.
