Pennungal (Four Women), master auteur Adoor Gopalakrishnan's
celebrated film about a virgin (Geetu Mohandas), a prostitute
(Padmapriya), a housewife (Manju Pillai) and a spinster (Nandita
Das) will be screened at the Viennale, the largest and most
exciting film event in Austria that opens in Vienna on October 17.
Gopalakrishnan will answer questions about the film after the
"A couple of my films have been shown in Vienna in the past. But
this is the first time I am accompanying my film Naalu
Pennungal to the Viennale. This is indeed a privilege
and honour for me and I look forward to discussing my work with the
audience," Gopalakrishnan said.

written by Jnanapith award winner Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai.
