Apoorva in progress

Nithin Ramakrishnan has directed this completely refreshing film about school life. Apoorva, meaning rare, reveals the rare relationship between school students. The story unfolds within the innocent bounds of school life.

Director Nithin Ramakrishnan is an 18 year-old student from Trichur. Dr. Ramakrishnan and Dr. Samson Pachikara have produced this film under Gauri Creations banner owned by Nithin. The film was made on a one crore budget. The shooting of Apoorva is over and editing work is in progress.

The cast include Sanjeev, Helen, Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Senthil, Vimala Raman, Kalpana, Ajay Sathyan, Anirudh Rajasekhar, M. Nithish, Preethi, Baby Minu and Master Ananthu. Music is by Vidhyadharan Master and camera has been handled by Jithu.

Nithin has made seven other short films earlier. He has also practised Kathakali, Ottanthullal and Chakyaarkooth. Nirangalute Kottaram, a serial directed by the teenaged director, was also telecast on a major Malayalam channel previously.
