Mimicry artist-turned-actor Jayaram, who has been at the wrong
side of his career with continuous flops, is trying to make a
strong comeback with the new family entertainer Veruthe Oru
Bharya, which is to grace the theatres on August 8. As the
movie carries good preview reports and impressive song sequences,
the actor is pinning much hope on the film.
Directed by Akku Akbar, Veruthe Oru Bharya is one of
the last movies by Gopika who recently got married to a Dr. Ajilesh
from Ireland. (Another movie by Gopika is Twenty:20,
produced by AMMA.)
The movie is an interesting take on an everyday family issue.
The film revolves around the lives of Sugunan (Jayaram), an
overseer in the electricity board, his wife Bindhu (Gopika) and
their only daughter Anjana, a ninth standard student.
Innocent, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Niveditha and
Sona Nair are also in the cast of this movie, penned by K Gireesh
Kumar. Slated to be released in thirty five theatres under the
banner of Cinema Kottaka, the movie is one of the prestigious
releases of Pyramid Saimira.
