Innocent to be the new God

Veteran actor Innocent, the current president of AMMA (The Association of Malayalam Movie Artiste), will soon appear in the role of God in a film titled as Aakasha Yathra. Debutant director A. Sasikumar will direct this film which will feature heaven and hell.

Scripted by journalist Suvachan, the movie is based on a huge fight between the gods and demons. Art director Nathan has built the massive sets of heavens and hell at the Navodhaya studios, Kakkanad. The shoot of the movie has already started two weeks ago. The movie is produced by New Darshan cinema.

Actor Jose will appear in the role of the P.A to the God. Also in the cast are Jagathy, Premkumar, Varun Thilak, Kottayam Nazaeer, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Mamukoya , Kalpana, Remadevi, Nisha, Sowmya and Indrans. Anil Gopinath handles the cinematography.
