Jayasurya sings Kamal's praises

Upcoming South Indian actor Jayasurya, a fan of Kamal Hassan, is certain that Dasavatharam will be another gem from Kamal Hassan. Jayasurya, who considers himself lucky to act with this idol in Vasool Raja MBBS (2004), recalls the thrilling moment when he faced the camera along with the legendary actor. "He is one of the greatest actors we have," says Jayasurya.

"Kamal Hassan is, no doubt, one of the greatest actors we have in Indian cinema. He was born to be an actor. He takes only seconds to get into a character. I saw his transformation when the camera started rolling and it was amazing. Once I asked him about this and was surprised when he replied that it was one trait he learnt from Malayalam cinema," Jayasurya added.

The actor said that the uniqueness of Kamal Hassan is his dedication to whatever he does. "He puts in a lot of efforts into the craft. He is not the kind who mugs up the dialogues, enacts before the camera and goes off the sets the moment his part is over. Movies are as important to him like the air we breathe is to us. He has set a different standard for himself and is a league apart from almost every other actor in the business. I have grown up watching his movies and I am sure he will be brilliant in Dasavatharam as well."
