Kalabhavan Mani desperate to try luck as hero

Kalabhavan Mani has signed two new films where he will be the sole hero. Unfortunately, Mani is having a bad run in the box office as films where he was the hero have done poor business. These films without strong stories tried to portray Mani in village roles with violence and action but the choosy Malayalee audience rejected them.

After the dismal run of these films, Mani resorted to playing villain and supporting roles but now, it seems that he wants to try his luck again. Two new flicks have been announced with Mani as hero: Kaliyuga Raman and Malayali. Malayali will feature Mani as an innocent villager named Nandhilethu Madhavan. The film, produced by Real Cinema, will be directed by debut director V.S. Sudheesh. The film is scripted by J. Pallasseri and shooting will start at Vadakkancheri and Palakkad.
