Meera
Jasmine,
the
leading
actress
in
South
says
that
she
is
not
bothered
about
the
ban
announced
by
All
Malayalam
Artists
Association
(AMMA)
and
tells
that
she
knows
how
to
handle
the
situation
wisely.
Recently,
AMMA
sent
a
show-cause
notice
to
Meera
Jasmine
for
refusing
to
give
her
dates
to
the
Association's
fund
raising
project
Twenty:
20.
In
this
film,
67
artists
are
participating
and
are
extending
their
support
to
AMMA
to
raise
sufficient
fund
to
help
poor
artists'
welfare.
When
Dileep,
the
producer
of
the
film
Twenty:
20
approached
Meera
for
her
dates,
she
immediately
refused
to
act
in
the
film
and
said
that
she
was
busy
in
three
films
of
South
Indian
languages.
Learning
her
decision,
all
the
leading
artists
in
Malluwood
insist
AMMA
to
take
severe
action
against
the
actress
for
her
non-cooperation
to
the
association.
A
couple
of
days
ago
AMMA
declared
an
indefinite
ban
on
Meera
to
act
in
any
Malayalam
films
and
sent
a
circular
to
all
its
members.
At
present,
Meera
is
starring
in
3
Malayalam
films
including
Minnamini
Koottam
directed
by
ace
director
Kamal
Hassan.
When
questioned
her
about
this
ban,
the
actress
coolly
said,
"I
don't
care
about
the
show-cause
notice
or
ban
announced
by
AMMA.
As
I'm
busy
in
Tamil
and
Telugu
I
rejected
that
project.
But
for
that
they
have
declared
a
ban
on
me.
It
is
too
much
and
ridiculous.
Some
of
the
functionary's
statements
on
me
show
their
awkward
mind.
But
I
know
how
to
handle
them."
Meanwhile,
Meera
Jasmine
signed
contract
for
a
new
Malayalam
film
with
Naren
on
Friday.
It
is
mentionable
that
Naren
is
the
other
important
Malayalam
actor,
who
escaped
from
AMMA's
project!
