What
would
Meera
Nandan
have
become
if
not
an
actress?
If
you
ask
this
from
the
pretty
actress
who
is
making
her
debut
in
Kollywood
with
Valmiki
directed
by
Anantha
Narayanan,
pat
comes
the
reply,
"I
might
have
become
a
singer!"
"I
always
wanted
to
be
a
singer;
I've
undergone
training
in
classical
music.
I've
been
practising
it
for
the
last
13
years
as
music
is
my
passion," she
reveals
with
a
smile.
But
does
she
have
any
regrets
on
not
becoming
a
singer?
"There
is
still
time,
right!"
she
says
and
smiles.
Meera
Nandan
was
a
TV
anchor
and
has
hosted
a
successful
reality
music
show
on
Asianet
channel.
She
appeared
in
Mulla,
a
Malayalam
movie
with
Dileep
before
she
migrated
to
Tamil.
But
Meera
didn't
want
to
be
in
Tamil
films
at
all
initially.
"It
was
an
unknown
world
for
me.
But
director
Anantha
Narayanan
convinced
me.
He
said
that
my
face
was
apt
for
the
character
of
Vandana
and
no
one
else
could
play
that
role,"
Meera
said.
