cameo
than
Malayalam
star
Mohanlal,
who
is
playing
the
title
role
in
the
biopic
Nair
San,
based
on
the
life
history
of
Ayyappan
Pillai
Madhavan
Nair,
known
as
Nair
San
in
Japan.
While
Mohanlal
is
paid
Rs.
50
million
only
for
over
125
days
of
his
call
sheet,
Jackie
Chan
will
collect
six
times
that
fee
for
doing
a
cameo
in
12
days,
a
source
said.
To
be
produced
by
a
Middle
Eastern
production
company,
Morphous
group,
this
Indo-Japanese
film
is
made
at
a
whopping
cost
of
Rs.
2
billion
($47.6
million).
Talking
about
the
movie
with
Jackie
Chan,
Mohanlal
said
that
the
film
Nair
San
is
based
on
the
true
story
of
a
Keralite
boy
who
settled
in
Japan
and
became
a
freedom
fighter.
The
film
is
partly
Chinese
as
shooting
takes
place
in
China
too.
The
first
schedule
of
Nair
San
will
start
in
the
Mongolian
desert
in
the
first
week
of
September.
Jackie
Chan
has
agreed
to
choreograph
the
fight
sequences
as
well.
Leading
Japanese
actress
Shunsuken
Matosuoka
is
expected
to
star
opposite
Mohanlal
in
this
film
depicting
the
era
between
1920
and
1970.
