Mysskin's Anjaathe has made Narain hot in Kollywood. Anjaathe was truly one of the masterpieces among many police stories we have seen in the past. After the movie, Narain has been getting numerous offers in Kollywood, especially from cop movies. But for Narain, it's no more cop movies for the next two years!

"After playing such a powerful cop like Anjaathe's Sathyavan, I don't think I can play just another ordinary cop again. I want to do jovial, light, action-based films," the actor revealed during an interview.

Narain, who portrayed fun-loving roles in many Malayalam movies like Achuvinte Amma and Minnaminnikoottam, has done only serious and intense roles in Kollywood so far. "My characters don't even smile in these scripts! 90% of the scripts I have been offered have the same stuff! I don't want to be stereotyped. As an actor, I want to explore more genres."

So, now is the time for Narain to make more commercial cinema. Good news for Narain fans is that in his next venture Pookadai Ravi, Narain plays a flower vendor in Madurai who is emotional, likeable, innocent and jovial. Narain will be doing love-based subjects in this film. All the best, Narain!
