After the super success of Anjaathe in Tamil, young and talented Narain thinks twice before accepting scripts! Narain, who made his debut as an actor with 4 The People, and became close to people's hearts with his performance in super hit Achuvinte Amma, Classmates, Nenjirukkum Varai and blockbuster Chithiram Pesuthadi, is apparently planning to quit Malayalam movies for a while.
"Now I am busy shooting for the Malayalam movie Minna Minni Kootam with Meera Jasmine and it will be the last commitment in Malayalam for now as I have decided to focus more on Tamil movies," he revealed.
It is not clear why this actor has decided not to be active in Malayalam industry. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to note that the young actor recently bombasted the Malayalam film industry for not supporting any new actors into the industry. He commented that the industry had lots of foolish fights to be buried if they really wanted to promote the field.
"In Malayalam, they even refuse to endorse the new talents. I was fought with the so-called veterans a lot to get a place in there. In fact, I exposed my views on the industry in most of my press briefings. But none had the guts to publish the uncut version of my views. They edited all my comments and criticisms. I feel much comfortable in Tamil," he further added while addressing media representatives in February.
Narain is yet to sign up for Pookadai Ravi, a new project in Tamil to be directed by Sivakumar who apprenticed with Selvaraghavan. Talks are underway for a prestigious project with a renowned director. More details will be revealed after a few days.
