Twenty:20 turns a test match

Still from Twenty 20
The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) is likely to call for a meeting of its members to sort out a surplus of ego clashes amongst its members, causing a delay in the completion of director Joshi's much-hyped muti-starrer Twenty:20. Dileep started the shooting in December 2007 and it is still dragging on like a test match for the last three months.

Latest buzz says that the filmmakers of Twenty:20 are struggling to coordinate with the superstars who are playing a one-man-upmanship game amongst themselves. When Mammootty has dates, Mohanlal is unavailable and when both are ready for the shoot Suresh Gopi does not report for the shoot.

This 'class war' has been taking place for several months, making producer Dileep go crazy. It is heard that Dileep is determined that he will start his future films only after the completion of Twenty:20, starring almost all stars in Malayalam film industry.

The shoot of the film is almost over but for the climax. A one week schedule of the film is to take place between August 5 and 12 to complete its climax scenes in Ernakulam. Let's hope our superstars will turn up for the shoot this time!
