For singer-actress Vasundhara Das, music matters the most. During her career spanning less than nine years, this multi-talented, blue-eyed girl has already done it all: films in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, playback singing, music band (Arya, that organizes rhythm-based events through out the world), concert tours around the world and even a reality show.
Before entering the music industry, Vasundhara featured in the Tamil films Citizen with Ajith, Hey Ram with Kamal Hassan, the Malayalam movie Ravana Prabhu with Mohanlal and the Kannada flick Lankesh Patrike with Darshan.
In the super hit Ravana Prabhu (the sequel of the Malayalam movie Devasuram, featuring Mohanlal in a double role as Mangallaserry Neelakandan and his son Karthikeyan) she played Janaki, a free-spirited young doctor. The movie, released in 2001, was a modern-day interpretation of the Ramayana.
After a gap of seven years, the actress is now all set to make a comeback in Mollywood. She has signed a Malayalam movie, Boss, in which she will play Pooja, a super actress who gets associated with a goon named Boss (Suresh Gopi). More details about the movie, including other cast, crew and the shooting are expected to be revealed soon.
