Vellitherai, starring Prithviraj, Prakashraj, Gopika and Lakshmi Rai, jointly produced by Moserbaer, Mirchi Movies and Duet Movies, is all set to hit the silver screen soon. The film, a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Udhayananu Tharam, is directed by acclaimed dialogue writer Viji who has earlier penned the dialogues for Tamil films Azhagiya Theeyae and Mozhi.

Music is by the young G.V. Prakash, who has come out with an eclectic mix of melodies and rocking numbers. Vellitherai, set against the backdrop of the film industry, is a story about the whites, blacks and greys of the show business. The latest buzz in Kollywood is that the climax of the film has come out very well. The climax was shot in the famed Ramoji Rao Film City by cinematographer K.V. Guhan. Seven cameras were used to shoot the climax, which appears to take place inside a huge theatre.
