Vijayaraghavan
Actor Vijayaraghavan, son of popular National award winning theatre personality N.N. Pillai, has already enacted almost all kinds of roles onscreen. He played numerous characters including hero, second hero, character roles and even venomous villain roles for nearly 200 films in his career spanning more than 25 years.

Vijayaraghavan made his debut with Kaapaalika (1973), which was based on his father's play of the same name. In this film, he appeared in just a couple of scenes. His opening as a full-fledged actor occurred only after 10 years with Surumayitta Kannukal (1983). However, it was only after he appeared in Mammootty starrer New Delhi (1987) that Vijayaraghavan became a really busy star in Malayalam.

Now after a long gap, Vijayaraghavan will be the hero once after a long gap in the upcoming Nanthuni, to be directed by debutante Hari Narayanan. Nanthuni, said to be a period flick, will have debutante Mithuna as the heroine. Saikumar, Kalasala Babu and Indrans will also appear in key roles.

Cinematography will be by debutante Sasi Ramakrishnan, associate of Santosh Sivan and Manoj Pillai. Penned by Priyesh Manambatta, the film will be produced by Kannan Mannarkaad. More details are awaited.
