Casanova to be revived in January 2010

Casanova, one of Mohanlal's dream project is to be revived soon. It was slated as another beautiful work by the Roshan Andrews – Mohanlal team after the terrific victory of Udayananu Thaaram. The shooting which was to commence in April was called off in the last minute. This was after the movie was announced in a grand manner.

As per the sources, the Sagar Alias Jackie debacle at the box office has been sighted as the prime reason for putting off this project. The producers who were to invest an astounding 10 crores in this project withdrew their support after analyzing the success rate at the box office. The famous real estate business group, Confident was supposed to produce this movie.

Laying aside all speculations, Roshan Andrews is re-starting the shooting of Casanova in January 2010. while earlier if Vienna was chosen as the shooting locale, the makers have now decided to go for Cape Town instead of that. Tamil actor Arya, Lakshmi Rai and Jagathy Sreekumar are the others who would be accompanying Mohanlal in this venture.
