Devarajan's Rainbow on women

By Super Admin

Rainbow is an English film in which seven women do important roles. The pooja of the film was performed on women's day at Kottayam. The venue of the function was 'Pallikkoodam', a school run by Mary Roy, mother of Arundhati Roy.

Mary Roy lit the lamp. Mammootty was the special guest at the occasion. Mary Roy is a social worker too. She has fought in the court against the custom prevailing in the Christian community that a girl child has no right in her parents' assets after marriage.

This is Devarajan's next project after Swapna Malika and Paribhavam. Story, dialogue and screenplay are by Deedi Damodaran. Her first film was Gulmohar. The film Rainbow is made under the banner of Span International. Seven prominent actresses from Indian cinema will be cast in the film. The shooting of the film will begin in July.
