If
someone
said
comedian-turned-hero
Dileep
will
make
a
South
Indian
version
of
Spiderman,
which
grossed
$100
million
in
three
days,
would
you
believe
it?
We
can
never
imagine
Dileep
in
a
real
(but
not
comic)
superhuman
character
with
supernatural
strength,
stamina,
speed,
reflexes
and
ability
to
cling
to
most
surfaces.
And
who
would
invest
in
such
a
project?
So
what's
the
real
news?
Dileep
will
soon
be
the
hero
of
a
hilarious
comedy
tentatively
titled
Spiderman,
scripted
by
Sibi
K.
Thomas-Uday
Krishna
who
wrote
numerous
Malayalam
hits
including
C.I.D.
Moosa,
Vettam,
Thuruppugulan,
Chess
and
most
recently
AMMA's
multi-starrer
Twenty:20.
The
Malayalam
Spiderman
will
be
directed
by
Raj
Babu.
More
details
about
this
'desi
version'
are
awaited.
Meanwhile,
director
Raj
Babu
is
currently
working
on
the
forthcoming
Colours
with
Dileep
in
the
role
of
a
blind
man.
The
film
has
already
completed
its
post-production
work
and
will
go
to
the
Censors
next
week.
Shot
extensively
at
Ooty,
Colours
stars
Roma
in
the
female
lead.
Produced
by
M.
Mani
under
the
banner
of
Aroma
movies,
the
film
will
hit
theatres
within
two
weeks.
