Despite her poor success rate, Muktha has managed to maintain her presence with at least one film per year! In 2009, she will be seen with Sureshgopi in the superstar film Hailesa, a full-fledged comedy entertainer by director Thaha. After Thaha's debut venture Varnam, this is the second time that Sureshgopi teams up with him.
Hailesa is about Ganapathi Iyer (Lalu Alex), a middle-aged business man with a number of business firms spread in many countries. He appoints two men, Krishnan (Sureshgopi) and Ulpalakshan (Jagathy Sreekumar) to assist him in the business. However, unsatisfied over the nature of the job, Krishnan and Ulpalakshan soon plan to resign, but later decide to stay back for certain reasons. The situation takes a turn for the worse when Shalini (Muktha) enters their lives.
The rest of the cast includes Vijaya Raghavan, Cochin Haneefa, Bheeman Raghu, Salim Kumar, Biju Kuttan, Kalasala Babu, Narayanan Kutty, Jaffer Idukki and others. The film will be scripted jointly by Sai Damodar and director Thaha. Jagatheesh Chandran is producing the film under the banner of Kichu films. Lyrics are handled by Shibu Chakravarthy, Anil Panachooran and Rajeev Alunkal. Music is set by Ouseppachan. Camera is handled by Vipin Mohan. Hailesa is expected to grace theatres soon.
Muktha George (Bhanu in Tamil) is an upcoming actress from Kerala. This mini screen artist-turned-heroine debuted in 2005 when she was just 13 with the much acclaimed Achanurangatha Veedu (Malayalam) directed by Lal Jose. Later, she starred in the Malayalam hits Nasrani, Goal and Kerala Police she made a successful entry into Telugu and Tamil through Anand starrer Photo (2006) and Vishal starrer Thamiraparani (2007) respectively. Although most of her films were successful, she couldn't make it big in any language so far.
