Jayasurya savours first solo success

Ivar Vivaahitharaayaaal by filmmaker Saji Surendran with Jayasurya in the lead is edging towards a good show at the theatres in Kerala. The film has already grossed over Rs 90 lakhs from 33 screens in its first week itself.

What has been all the more significant is that this the first time that Jayasurya has pulled off a movie on his own. The actor who has till now not savoured a solo success, surely has the reasons to bask in the glory of this hard earned success. The distributor Alex George rightly notes, “ It is amazing that a Jayasurya film could gross such a huge amount in its first week, the film is a super hit."

Ivar Vivaahitharaayaaal narrates the story of a young man whose sole aim in life is to get married. The movie then goes on to recount the funny incidents and the misunderstanding that follow suit. Jayasurya has found greener patures and the future seems all bright and sunny.
