Director duo Rafi-Mecartin's Love In Singapore, a
hilarious comedy presenting Mammootty as 'Aakry Machu', a man who
rose to financial heights after starting his life as a scrap
dealer, is releasing on January 23, 2009. Tamil and Telugu actor
Navneet Kaur is the heroine.
Love In Singapore will be Mammootty's first release
this year, as his much-anticipated bilingual Vande Mataram
(expected on January 14 during Pongal) has been postponed once
Love In Singapore, which has completed its entire
shooting at the locations of Singapore, Kochi and Karaikudi, is
presently in its post-production stage. The movie was earlier
planned for a Christmas release, but was later postponed due to
delays in the post-production.
Also in the
cast are Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Harishree Ashokan, Rajan
P. Dev, Lalu Alex and Nedumudi Venu. Sanjeev Sankar is the man
behind the camera; Suresh Peters scores the music; lyrics are by
Rajiv Alungal and Santhosh Varma. There are four beautiful songs
sung by Jyotsna, Sainora and Alex. The film is produced by Rafi
under the banner M.H.M. Productions.
