Love In Singapore, Malayalam's sensational superstar Mammootty's much-awaited first release in 2009 by director duo Rafi-Mecartin, is releasing big in 100 plus screens in Kerala on January 23. This is a hilarious comedy presenting Mammootty as 'Aakry Machu', a man who rose to financial heights after starting his life as a scrap dealer.
As the name suggests, Love In Singapore was extensively shot at the locations of Singapore and is currently undergoing through the final touches of post-production. The script is written by the director duo, who earlier joined hands with Mammootty in the super hit Mayavi directed by Shafi.
Tamil-Telugu actor Navneet Kaur is the heroine. Also in the cast are Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Harishree Ashokan, Rajan P. Dev, Lalu Alex and Nedumudi Venu. Jayasurya, who earlier acted with Mammootty in Parunthu, has a cameo role in Love in Singapore.
Sanjeev Sankar is the man behind the camera. Lyrics are written by Rajeev Alumkal and music composed by Santosh Varma and Suresh Peters. There are four beautiful songs sung by Jyotsna, Sainora and Alex. The film is produced by Rafi under the banner M.H.M. Productions.
