Mammootty-Shafi back with Chattambinaadu

Mammootty and director Shafi have churned out hits like Mayavi and Thommanum Makkalum. Now the most sought after team is once again uniting for a new venture Chattambinaadu. Like their previous movies this will also be another comedy movie, with action cleverly interspersed into the film.

Mammootty will don the role of Veerendra Mallayya, a Karnataka based estate owner. Most striking highlight of the movie is the accent which will truly have the Kannada flavour to it. If the Thiruvananthapuram version of Malayalam has had an impact on the audience in Rajamanikyam, then the Kannada accent in Chattambinaadu will also work wonders at the box office.

With the script by Benny P Nayarambalam, Chattambinaadu has three heroines for our superstar Mammootty. Produced by Mammootty's Playhouse, the movie will also have Mukesh essaying a pivotal role.
