Manikuttan slyly backs out from MACTA show

Anything in excess would leave a distaste and Manikuttan, one of the aspiring stars among the new generation has proven this time and again with his sugar coated jelly arrows. Humble to the core, Manikuttan cannot address anyone by their first name, let alone even an endearing 'chetta' (brother), for everyone is his respected 'sir' and he cannot think otherwise.

So when the organisers of MACTA Swargasangamam invited the actor to give a dance performance, he readily agreed without any condition whatsoever. Two days after making a commitment, Manikuttan calls up the program director and enquires about the number of dances that he is expected to perform, what he is expected to do and who are his co-performers. The answers seem to satisfy him and he gives his stylistic answer, “Ok sir, I will come."

The next day our hero calls up again and informs the program director that he is held up in Ottappalam for the shooting of a movie and that due to the heavy rains the director will not grant him any leave. The program co-ordinators call up the director and the production executive and they agree to let the hero go a day before the program. However our hero is not convinced, he bangs the phone and with a sly smile retorts, “ I won't dance with serial actresses. Ramya Nambeesan, Meera Krishna and Lena are the dancers..." Needless to say, finally Vineeth Kumar fills the slot and hollow humility is blown away with the wind.
