Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who recently starred with Kamal Hassan in the movie Unnaipol Oruvan, a remake of Bollywood movie A Wednesday, has said that Kamal Hassan is role model for the upcoming heroes. He praised his esteemed colleague at the grand function titled 'Ulaganayagan Kamal 50'.
Recently, Kamal Hassan"s 50 glorious years in front of the camera were celebrated in good measure at a grand function that was held Nehru indoor stadium on Monday evening. Speaking on the occasion Mohanlal said, "The industry is proud to have an actor, who could be looked upon as a fitting role model for the upcoming heroes."
The 'Ulaganayagan Kamal 50' was attended by Other South Indian superstars like Rajinikanth, Venkatesh and Mammootty. Maestro AR Rahman, producer AVM Saravanan, veteran actress Saroja Devi, directors Balachandar, Balu Mahendra, SP Muthuraman, Dharani, Mysskin, AR Murugadoss, Hariharan and SP. Balasubramaniam were also present on the occasion.
However, Kamal Hassan-Mohanlal starrer Unnaipol Oruvan was released earlier this month. It has been a big success at the Box Office. In an interview, Mohanlal said that Kamal Hassan was a wonderful actor and deserved more appreciation than he had been endowed then. He said, “I am really interested in working with him for more projects in future."
