Remakes are the in thing now. Everyone is looking forward to good stories that will fare well at the box office. Therefore filmmakers are all interested in coming up with projects which have fared elsewhere and have been accepted whole-heartedly by the audiences. The super hit Malayalam movie Nandanam with Prithviraj and Navya Nair in the lead is all set for a remake in Tamil.
Director Subramaniam Siva is planning to undertake the remake of Nandanam. If sources are to be believed, then he has already roped in young actor Dhanush to play the role of the Divine character in Tamil. If in the Malayalam version it was Lord Krishna, then in the Tamil version it would be Lord Murugan. Ananya would play the role essayed by Navya Nair in the upcoming Tamil version. The movie to be produced by Goodnight Mohan will soon commence shooting in the Holy abode of Pazhani from the 14th of November.
