Tamil
actor
Pasupathy
seems
to
be
all
happy
after
his
second
Malayalam
movie
Vairam
started
running
packed
houses
across
Kerala.
The
actor
has
said
that
he
is
least
interested
in
star
status
or
star
value.
He
wants
to
be
a
good
actor
and
his
films
should
run
on
merits.
Pasupathy,
who
debuted
with
a
cameo
in
Malayalam
film
Big
B
that
had
Mammootty
in
lead
role,
was
recently
in
Thiruvananthapuram
on
Thursday
to
promote
the
film
Vairam.
Addressing
the
media,
the
actor
said,
"I
am
least
interested
in
star
status
or
star
value.
My
only
objective
is
to
be
a
good
actor
and
my
films
should
run
onm
erits,
not
on
star
value."
The
Tamil
actor
further
said
that
compared
to
Tamil,
Malayalam
films
certainly
have
a
better
quality
when
it
comes
to
the
script.
He
added
that
but
the
remuneration
would
be
better
in
Tamil
because
it
has
a
wider
audience
and
the
budgets
of
Tamil
films
are
bigger.
