Grand audio launch of Pazhassi Raja

Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja by M T Vasudevan and Hariharan with Mammootty in the lead launched its audio recently in a grand function at the Gokulam Park in Kochi, Kerala. Mammootty launched the audio CD by handing over a copy to the Tamil actor Sarath Kumar, who also essays a key role in the movie. Maestro Ilayaraja is the music director of this film.

Mammootty in his speech said that he was proud to be associated with the movie on Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, the legendary king and freedom fighter hailing from the Malabar region of Kerala. He had fought the first war of independence against the British. Oscar award winner Resul Pookutty said that he was very happy to have been a part of this great movie with eminent personalities like M T Vasudevan Nair, Ilayaraja, Hariharan and Mammootty.
