Pazhassi Raja to finally release on October 16

Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja will finally grace the screens on Friday October 16. This magnum opus by M T Vasudevan and Hariharan with Mammootty, Sarath Kumar, Kanika and Padmapriya will release in 125 theatres across Kerala. According to the executive producer Gokulam Gopalan, “Yes the prints and digital format is ready and Pazhassi Raja will make it to the theatres from this Friday (Oct 16). It is to release in 125 screens across Kerala making it the biggest ever release in the history of Malayalam films."

Pazhassi raja will have a tight release as at every five kilometer distance, there would be a theatre which would showcase this movie. In the capital city Thiruvananthapuram alone, the movie would release in four major theatres like New, Sreekumar, Kripa and Dhanya, so too in other areas like Ernakulam, Kozhikode and so forth.

Mammootty speaks eloquently with confidence saying, “Pazhassi Raja will be a landmark movie that is sure going to create history. I"m very happy the way the film has shaped out." The trade pundits reveal that the makers are trying to garner as much profit as possible in the first week of release itself.
