Prithviraj gets a way too pricey

Prithviraj is basking in the glory of the massive success of his recently released Malayalam movie Puthiya Mugham. The actor who has been struggling to create a space for himself, has finally secured the action hero image through Puthiya Mugham which has got a record share of 2 crores in just a span of 17 days.

Prithviraj who rightly defines the young blood of this age has his hands brimming with offers and sorry to say that he has no time to spare till 2010. Prithvi surely knows how to make the most of the situations when the winds are blowing favourable for him. The super star in the making has therefore decided to hike his salary from 25 lakhs to 40 lakhs. This is in the wake of the new laws brought out by Kerala Film Producers' Association (KFPA), which has requested actors to reduce their remuneration!

Currently he is involved in projects like Raavan / Ashokavanam, Ninaithale Inikkum, Police Police, Robinhood and Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram. Other forthcoming projects are Paathira Manal, Veettilekkulla Vazhi, I Have a Dream, Kerala Cafe, Thanthonnee and The 19th Step.
