Rajasenan to try his luck in acting

By Super Admin

Noted Malayalam director and talented singer Rajasenan had always harboured dreams of becoming a director since childhood. He debuted as director with Aagraham in 1984 and later came up with several blockbusters like Pavam Crooran (1984), Kadinjool Kalyanam (1991), Ayalathe Adheham (1992), Meleparambil Anveedu (1993), CID Unnikrishnan B.A., B.Ed. (1994), Aniyanbava Chettanbava (1995), Aadyathe Kanmani (1995), Swapna Lokathe Balabhaskaran (1996), The Car (1997), and Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam (1998). However, a couple of movies in between failed to click at the box office. Each movie of his has a subtle moral to convey.

Surprisingly, Rajasenan is now all set to become a hero with Bhariya Onnu Makkal Moonu, written and directed by Rajasenan himself. According to sources, Rajasenan enacts the role of Chandramohan Thambi, a postmaster who struggles to make a living with his wife, likely to be played by veteran actress Nadia Moidu. After a long time, Nadia Moidu recently made a comeback to Malayalam with Makante Achan.

Produced by Jini Cinema with a budget of Rs. 1.5 crore, Bhariya Onnu Makkal Moonu will be a family story with comedy and sentiments. Also in the cast are Rahman, Murali, Samvrutha and Vidhubala. Music is by M. Jayachandran. Shooting will start in Guruvayoor from April end.
