Mammootty has no starry airs: Sarath Kumar

Even when Pazhassi Raja"s release seems to be a big mystery, the movie is already making big news in the media circles. So too there has been expectations surrounding the movie and much acclaim coming its way. So it has come as no surprise when Sarath Kumar expressed his happiness in having been able to be associated with the project.

Sarath Kumar who essays the role of Edachena Kunkkan, the army chief of Pazhassi Raja has also gone ahead to convey his pride in working with superstar Mammootty, who essays the title role. 'Mammootty is an amazing actor who doesn't have any starry airs around him. It is quite exciting to watch him act and now we are thick friends.''

Malayalam movie Pazhassi Raja written by M T Vasudevan and directed by Hariharan has Mammootty, Sarath Kumar and Kanika in the lead roles. The movie has been facing constant delay in its release and is expected to release in Kerala and Tamil Nadu during Diwali.
