Thaha returns with Kappal Muthalaali

Thaha who has been hailed as a specialist in churning out slapstick comedies is back with his latest venture, the Malayalam movie Kappal Muthalaali. The movie will also be different as it features popular television and stage artiste Ramesh Pisharady in the lead hero role and Sarayu in the lead heroine role. Ramesh Pisharady, who had made his debut in cinema through V K Prakash's Positive, however could not capture the hearts of the audiences, in spite of his brilliance in timing the comedy.

Thaha had savoured much success with his earlier releases like Mookilla Rajyathu, Vaarabhalam and Ee Parakkum Thalika. But latesly his movies like Hailesa and Thekkekara Super Fast flunked at the box office and therefore the director has pinned his hopes on the upcoming Kappal Muthalaali.

Apart from these two artistes, Kappal Muthalaali also features Mukesh, Jagadeesh, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salimkumar, Bheeman Reghu, Biju Kuttan and Jaffer Idukky.The shooting of this comedy caper will continue at Perumbavoor.
